Arkansas School for the Deaf is a fully accredited, tuition-free state public school for eligible preschool and K-12 students who are deaf/hard of hearing and its follows a state-mandated curriculum and provides individualized education to students from throughout Arkansas, many of whom live on campus during the week in dormitories.

 

100 myACE bucks per student. This includes all materials, curriculum, and fees. Students generally meet once per week throughout the school year. 

 

Sign Language Community Class:

  • Classwork - American Sign Language community classes are designed to teach the basic sign language to the community.  These students are wanting to be able to communicate with Deaf individuals on a limited basis.
  • The community classes are 10-week in length and will meet each Monday evening at 6:00 pm.

  • The classes will meet in the Leopard Spot on the Arkansas School for the Deaf campus.

  • The students will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the 10 weeks.

 

Hours of Operation:

Monday:  6:00-7:30 PM
